Integrated food safety and environmental policy

The Integrated Food Safety and Environmental Policy, designed by the management of Miguel Parra e Hijos, S.L., whose activity is the Manufacture of juices, concentrates, pulps, comminuted, essential oils, and other citrus derivatives, expresses its intention to ensure the review, maintenance, continuous improvement, and communication to employees of an Integrated Management System, with the following aim:

• Promote the responsible development and management of the organization.
• Meet the needs of social partners and the organization itself (employees, suppliers, clients, public administration, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with current legislation and/or legal requirements regarding quality, environment, and food safety, as well as our clients’ specifications and requirements related to environmental aspects.
• Guarantee the production of high-quality natural products that meet market requirements and expectations, always with the highest safety for our workers and respect for the environment, based on sustainability.
• Provide the framework for establishing and reviewing environmental objectives and targets.
• Guarantee food safety/harmlessness through a food safety culture, traceability, internal and external interactive communication, and risk control based on HACCP principles, involving the entire organization.
• Guarantee the commitment to continuously improve the food safety and quality culture.
• Guarantee the commitment against food fraud, with the purpose of obtaining safe, legal, and authentic products.
• Assume the strategic responsibility of minimizing food loss and waste within the organization and across the supply chain.
• Guarantee environmental protection by respecting the natural surroundings where the activity takes place, as well as preventing pollution and climate change.
• Provide the necessary resources and properly planning their use to achieve an effective implementation of occupational health and safety.
• Maintain our market share and achieving sustained growth based on the growth of our clients and the market itself.

Integrated management system guarantees that all previously set objectives are reached.

Finally, it declares that the Manual, Procedures, and Technical Instructions of the Integrated Food Safety and Environmental Management System are mandatory for the entire workforce of Miguel Parra e Hijos, S.L.
